Yes, Scandinavian roots, we have adopted the simple, minimalist and modern design principles of creating timeless and functional products. The team works out of our headquarters in Oslo, Norway.
To offer our customers products of the highest quality at an affordable price, we have chosen to only have an online presence at the moment.
We strive to be more sustainable every day and reduce our footprint. The volant diffuser cover is made of porcelain, and the base is made of BPA-free plastic. We use glass for the organic essential oil bottles and paper as wrapping.
Shipping and Returns
We ship from our warehouse in Bedford, UK.
At volant, we are constantly working on growing our shipping network. At the moment, we ship to most countries within the EU and Norway.

We ship with Royal Mail. The service we use is 48 hours tracked delivery. We ship packages every day. The cut off is 2 pm. Your products will arrive at your door or at your local post office within 1-3 business days. Orders over £50 ship for free. Orders under £50 ship for £6.9.

All orders from volant are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). This means that the cost of customs/tax is included in the price you see during checkout. You will not be charged any additional customs or tax after you've placed your order.
You will receive your order within 1-3 business days.
All volant diffusers can be exchanged or returned up to 30 days after purchase. All essential oils and accessories can be exchanged or returned up to 14 days after purchase if the oil is unused and returned sealed in its original packaging.
Yes, you don't have to pay anything to return your purchase. Simply contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will facilitate your return.
We do not offer an option for express delivery at the moment.
We're pleased to inform you that shipping and delivery time on your orders are not affected by the current situation. We also have the same shipping and return policies as usual.
Our warehouse is fully operational, but those who are able to work from home are currently doing so. Our employees can safely work at a distance from each other at our warehouse.
If you are experiencing issues tracking your order, please remember:
• It can take up to 24 hours from when you receive the shipping confirmation until the tracking number is activated through the tracking service.
• Make sure you are using the tracking details from your shipping confirmation email.
All diffusers have a 1-year warranty. You can download our manual here.
All the plastic used to make the diffusers is BPA-free. The porcelain is durable and of the highest quality.
Every stone cover is crafted by hand, lightweight, 5 mm in thickness, and painted with the most solid and durable colour. Every single diffuser is unique.
Inside each diffuser is a small ceramic plate that creates a cool, odourless water mist when vibrating, just like the steam around a waterfall. This vibration breaks the added essential oils into microscopic particles and spreads the mist in the air, so you can refresh your home easily. The volant diffusers produce 2.5 million vibrations per second to create the mist.
Yes. The volant diffuser need to be plugged into a power source to produce mist. There is a 1.5 meter-long power cable in the package. Due to its length, it is easy to hide the cord as well as move your diffuser around in your home.
The volant diffuser is an aroma diffuser utilizing ultrasonic technology and is designed to disperse scents from essential oils. The diffuser can cover an area of approximately 40 sqm.
Since the diffuser is based on ultrasonic technology, it creates steam and therefore adds some moisture into the air. If you use the volant diffuser at your workplace or where you sleep, increased humidity will be one of the benefits but not as much as a traditional air humidifier would.
Yes, it does. It works with the standard UK power cords.
Yes, every diffuser has the minimalistic white light. The light can be turned off/on as you wish with a button.
We produce premium oils with strict certification requirements for production and purity. Our oils are 100% pure and do not contain any synthetic substances, water, perfume or non-natural components. All our oils are certified organic.
Volant is a company that distributes essential oils directly from production to customers. We can therefore offer a lower price than multi-level marketing companies can.
Any time you are looking for a boost and to feel energised. Use our energising essential oils in your diffuser, with massage or in cleaning whenever it feels right to you. We recommend energising products when you wake up in the morning or in the middle of the day as a pick-me-up.
Use our relaxing and recharging essential oils whenever you need to add more calmness to your day. You can try products that are considered relaxing before you go to bed or to reduce stress throughout the day, according to how you feel.
We prefer to simply talk about the real quality of our products, without the use of "buzz-words" or empty marketing words. All our oils are 100% pure and certified organic. We test our essential oils in several stages of the production process. This elaborate process allows us to offer you some of the world's best essential oils at a reasonable price. The oils usually reach our customers within 1-3 months after they are produced, and the shelf life is three years, unopened.
You are not supposed to drink essential oils. We recommend consulting a medical professional if you do so.
Volant essential oils start their journey in different parts of the world. We are currently sourcing ingredients from 15 different countries: Brazil, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, Australia, UK, Russia, China, Haiti, Vietnam, France, Japan, Indonesia and Austria.
In order to maintain full quality control, most of our oils are distilled or cold pressed at our facilities in New Dehli.
All our oils have a shelf life of 3 years after the production date when unopened. We store them exposed to as little light as possible. We recommend that you store the oils at room temperature without direct sunlight.
The first thing you should do is consult a veterinarian. Your veterinarian knows best if your pet is more sensitive than others.

Should you choose to diffuse essential oils around your pet, we recommend:
- Using only small amounts of essential oils, 5-10 drops
- Make sure that the room is well ventilated with a window slightly open
- Always keep a door open so that the animal can enter and exit the room easily
- Watch how your pet responds to the aroma, and if you notice your pet resisting, discontinue
No - absolutely not. We have never tested volant products on animals, and we never will.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription after the first two deliveries. If you wish to cancel your subscription before, please contact us at email@example.com.
